how does a simulated shoot work?
Our simulated game days run from the beginning of February through to the end of June (this can be extended into July by arrangement). We utilise different parts of the Estate to give the most varied experience to those shooting.
The experience is ideally suited for four or eight people, with four shooting whilst the other four load or watch and then swapping.
If there are only four people shooting they can load themselves or loaders can be provided.
All packages include a full safety briefing, shoot host, public liability insurance, hat, ear and eye protection and transport around the Estate in our gun bus. Lunch and light refreshments are charged as required by the participants. We can supply at an extra cost, cartridges (fibre wad only), gun hire, instructors (mandatory for novices if not paired with what we deem to be an experienced gun), and loaders as required.
Well behaved dogs and spectators are welcome. Catering for additional guests is charged as required.
For clients bringing their own guns and cartridges we ask to see a current shotgun licence and request that only fibre wad or photo-degradable cartridges are used. If, for whatever reason, we believe an individual is shooting unsafely we would either require that one of our experienced instructors stand with them or that they cease shooting immediately.
Our greatest aim is to make each day as fun as possible for everyone involved.
