ABOUT BIRCH ESTATE

Birch Estate is a family run estate that has been in the ownership of one family for almost 300 years. It is a traditional agricultural and sporting estate covering over 4,000 acres of land south of Colchester. The live bird shoot has game records going back one hundred and twenty years.

The principle interests of the estate are agriculture, forestry, residential property and light industrial units and gravel. As part of that we in-hand farm over 2,000 acres, with the primary emphasis of the estate being agriculture, environment, conservation and preservation, ensuring it will be carefully handed to the next generation.
